I-635 westbound in Irving crash: Lanes reopen after 18-wheeler hits overpass

IRVING, Texas – I-635 in Irving has reopened after an 18-wheeler struck a bridge.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon on I-635 West at the N MacArthur Boulevard overpass.
The truck was hauling a large concrete block when it struck the bridge. SKY 4 video shows debris on the highway.
TxDOT says it reopened all lanes Friday morning after the bridge was deemed structurally safe.
Drivers were seen crossing the median to turn around and get off the highway. No injuries were reported.
